Welcome

Bethlehems Downtown Campus is on the eastern edge of downtown Minneapolis, about two blocks southeast of the US Bank Stadium. If youre coming on I-94 W from St. Paul, our main parking lot is immediately off the 7th Street exit. (See all parking options.) Just inside the main entrance is a Welcome Desk staffed to help you with any questions you may have. We would be delighted to connect with you!

What to Expect

We are eager for you to join us for a worship service! Our weekly gatherings are characterized by an eagerness to encounter the living God together in the context of prayer, singing, the preaching of the Gods word, and fellowship with each other.

The content of the gospel shapes our services. Each week, as we gather for corporate worship, we celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ with a four-fold order of service: 1) God is holy, 2) We are sinful, 3) Jesus saves, and 4) Jesus sends. Through Scripture reading, prayer, and singing, we rehearse this gospel and confess the unsurpassable worth of Jesus Christ. We then continue in worship as we hear Gods word through preaching. See our Preaching Schedule.

  • Information about our church is available at the Welcome Desk outside the Sanctuary. Stop by to ask a question or pick up printed materials.
  • Nursery care is available during worship services for children ages birth–3 years.
  • Sunday School classes meet at 9am or 11am. Some classes for adults meet year-round. Classes for children and youth are offered during the school year.
  • Spanish speakers are invited hear a translation of the sermon in Spanish on Sundays at 9am. Headsets are available at the Welcome Desk, and a livestream translation is available online. Learn about our Hispanic Ministry.

Ministries

Sunday and midweek ministries encourage believers of all ages in their walk with God and strengthen our church body to “grow so that it builds itself up in love” (Ephesians 4:16).

NurseryNursery - Downtown

We welcome children ages birth–3 years to be cared for during worship services and special events. A team of caregivers leads children in age-appropriate playtime, shares God-centered stories and songs, and prays for each child.

We are eager to partner with parents as we announce births & adoptions, host Child Dedication Services, and provide nursery care in hopes that even the littles ones among us will have a firm foundation for loving Jesus.

MeetupsMeetups - Downtown

Meetups help you connect with your Bethlehem neighbors. This summer, Meetups throughout the Twin Cities area will gather in a neighborhood near you. A Meetup is a simple shared meal in one of the homes of your Bethlehem neighbors. It's a chance to do as the church has always done—breaking bread in our homes and receiving our food with glad and generous hearts.

Worship & MusicWorship & Music - Downtown

We aim to employ a variety of musical forms and expressions from both the past and the present. For more on our vision, read our Philosophy of Worship and learn about What Unites Us in Worship.

Worship Teams

Worship teams help lead our congregation in corporate worship and are composed of piano, keyboard, bass, drums, acoustic and electric guitars, strings, and vocalists. We also occasionally feature solo instruments, such as French Horn or flute. We look for team members who delight in the Lord, humbly steward their musical talents, and encourage each other. If you are interested in serving with the Downtown Worship Worship Team, please contact us

Adult Choirs

The adult choir has the opportunity to sing in weekend services and for special events several times throughout the year. We welcome new choir members (ages 16 & above) at any time during the choir season. Learn more about joining the choir.

Youth Choirs

Youth choirs typically sing 2–5 times a year in worship services and for special events. During rehearsal times, children learn principles of biblical worship and the rudiments of music and singing.
